Cruisin' the Coast returns Oct. 3-10, 2027. Biloxi hosts the downtown Block Party, the swap meet and auction at the Coast Coliseum and the beach cruise.

Last checked Oct. 22, 2026. This page is updated each year. The 2026 event ran Oct. 4-11; the organizer has published the 2027 dates and registration prices, and the Biloxi details below are from 2026 until the 2027 schedule is out. Official site: cruisinthecoast.com, 228-385-3847.

Cruisin’ the Coast is the week the whole Coast fills up with classic cars. It began in 1996 with 374 registered vehicles; in 2025 more than 10,300 were registered, from 45 states and several other countries, the organizer says. Cars cruise the 30-mile stretch of U.S. 90 along the beach and stop at venues in Bay St. Louis, Biloxi, D’Iberville, Gulfport, Pass Christian, Ocean Springs and Pascagoula. Biloxi’s share is the downtown Block Party, the swap meet and auto auction at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum, casino cruise-ins and a lot of traffic on Beach Boulevard.

2027 dates: Sunday, Oct. 3, to Sunday, Oct. 10. The organizer has also set future dates: Oct. 1-8, 2028, Sept. 30 to Oct. 7, 2029, and Oct. 6-13, 2030.

The Biloxi Block Party

The city’s Cruisin’ guide for 2026 described the Block Party as hundreds of Cruisin’ cars, live entertainment, restaurant and shop specials, and awards. Trophies went for categories like lowest vehicle, largest fuzzy dice, fattest rear tires, most chopped top, most chrome, longest distance driven and longest painted flames, plus the Mayor and City Council Cup.

  • Cruisers were told to arrive as early as 5 a.m. to park.
  • All event parking entered at Reynoir Street at MLK Boulevard, and lots filled in numbered order.
  • Lameuse Street ran one way southbound from MLK Boulevard to Beach Boulevard, and Howard Avenue one way eastbound from Reynoir Street to Main Street.

Traffic and parking in Biloxi

From the city’s 2026 guide and its traffic plan (PDF):

  • Expect delays on Beach Boulevard (U.S. 90) and roads leading into Biloxi all week.
  • Cones line Beach Boulevard from DeBuys Road to Rodenberg Avenue. When needed, the boulevard drops to two lanes: the right lane for traffic, the left for emergency vehicles.
  • Service drives along Beach Boulevard close at 10 p.m. unless posted, and police may close them earlier.
  • Coast Transit routes run detours and changed schedules during the week.
  • RV parking on private land: an owner letting RVs park free during a Tier 1 event needs an affidavit from Biloxi Community Development. An owner renting RV spaces needs a $50 parking permit and must meet standards including no more than one RV per 750 square feet and 8 feet between vehicles; the city lists $10 per space per night.

  • Amplified sound only with an approved permit.
  • Cross at intersections and crosswalks, and keep sidewalks and the boardwalk clear.
