Last checked Oct. 12, 2026. This roundup is rebuilt each month. Sources: the City of Biloxi’s weekly department reports for business license counts, and the Mississippi State Department of Health’s food facility inspection database for new food businesses. A first inspection is a sign a business is opening or has changed hands; it is not an announcement of an opening date.

How this list is made
- Business licenses are the counts the Community Development Department reports each week. The city does not publish the names of new license holders in those reports.
- New food businesses are open facilities in the state health database with a Biloxi address whose earliest inspection on record is in the month listed. A new record can mean a new business, a new location or a change of owner. A few have a Biloxi mailing address but sit outside the city limits.
- Opening a business and want it listed? Send the date and address to the newsroom through our contact page.
