Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants in Biloxi

Biloxi’s Mexican restaurants are spread across the city. The biggest group is on Pass Road and Beach Boulevard in west Biloxi, near Edgewater Mall; north of the Back Bay there are three on Cedar Lake Road and Lorraine Road, and east Biloxi has one on Porter Avenue.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the city limits, which also feed our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on 2026-10-16. The map data had no Mexican restaurants tagged in Biloxi, so every place here was added from the Mississippi State Department of Health’s food facility search or from Edgewater Mall’s store directory. Most of Biloxi’s Mexican restaurants have no website of their own; we list one only if it holds a current state food permit, and we say “no website” instead of guessing at its hours. Three places whose permits have lapsed are left out until we can confirm they are open. The list is alphabetical; it is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Restaurants can correct their entry through our contact page.

The places

Aztecas Restaurant & Cantina, 1906 Beach Blvd., is the Biloxi location of a Gulf Coast group with restaurants in Mississippi and Alabama. Its Biloxi page lists a weekday happy hour from 2 to 6 p.m., margarita specials on Mondays and Wednesdays, taco specials on Tuesdays, pickup and delivery ordering, and catering.

Chanitos Taqueria is in the Edgewater Mall food court, 2600 Beach Blvd. The mall’s directory page lists it with the mall’s hours and its own phone number.

El Potrillo, 1711 Pass Road, is a Mexican restaurant on the Pass Road corridor. It has no website we could find; its current state food permit confirms the address and phone.

El Saltillo, 920 Cedar Lake Road, Suite E, is a Mexican restaurant in north Biloxi whose state permits cover a restaurant and a bar. It has no website we could find.

El Valle 2, 1888 Beach Blvd., Suite F, is a restaurant on the beach highway in west Biloxi. It has no website we could find; its current state food permit confirms the address and phone.

El Volcan Mexican Grill, 12874 Lorraine Road, Suite B, is in the Woolmarket end of north Biloxi, inside the city limits. It has no website we could find; its current state food permit confirms the address and phone.

La Nortena, 224-A Porter Ave., is a Mexican restaurant in east Biloxi. The state lists a second permit under the same name at 169 Porter Ave. It has no website we could find.

Mi Jalisco Mexican Restaurant, 2125 Popps Ferry Road, Suite D, is a Mexican restaurant in the middle of the peninsula. Its web address shows only a “coming soon” page; its current state food permit confirms the address and phone.

Taco Bell has two Biloxi restaurants, at 2335 Pass Road and 913 Cedar Lake Road. Their location pages list drive-thru, dine-in, delivery and mobile ordering, and late-night drive-thru hours at both.

Taco Sombrero, 2595 Pass Road, is part of a small Gulf Coast chain with a second store in Gulfport. Its site lists the Biloxi hours and a menu of tacos, burritos, chimichangas and queso dishes.
