An index of where Biloxi and Harrison County publish public notices, hearings, bids and agendas, with the Mississippi Press Association's statewide notice site.
Last checked Oct. 12, 2026. This page is an index, not the official publication of any notice. In Mississippi, legal notices are published in newspapers as state law requires; the newspaper notice and the government body’s own record are the official versions.
Public notices tell you what your governments are about to do: zoning hearings, budget and tax hearings, bids, ordinances, foreclosures and estate notices. This page lists where to find the ones that touch Biloxi.

What counts as a public notice
The Mississippi Press Association’s explainer groups them three ways:
- Government activity: hearings, budgets, tax levies, ordinances and other actions that give citizens a chance to weigh in.
- Bids: requests for bids on services, purchases and construction, so businesses can compete for public work.
- Private parties using public powers or courts: foreclosures, estate notices and other court-related notices.
In Biloxi, examples include the City Council’s yearly tax levy, which the levy resolution itself says must be published once in a newspaper within 10 days of adoption, and zoning hearings before the Planning Commission.
