Black Friday is Friday, Nov. 27, 2026, and Small Business Saturday is Nov. 28. In Biloxi the holiday shopping season starts two weeks earlier with the Christmas City Gift Show at the Coast Coliseum, and it runs through December with open houses and artist markets downtown and on the beach.

Store hours

Edgewater Mall, 2600 Beach Blvd., is Biloxi’s enclosed mall. Its hours page lists regular hours of 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, adding that individual store and restaurant hours vary and holiday hours are subject to change. The mall had not posted Black Friday hours as of Oct. 12. It has free parking around the building and transit stops at the main entrance. In 2025 Santa arrived at the mall on Nov. 8.

Gulfport Premium Outlets, about 8 miles west in Gulfport, posts its holiday hours on its hours page.

Big-box stores set their own Thanksgiving and Black Friday hours; check each store’s own website before you go. This page will add each center’s holiday hours as they are posted.

Christmas City Gift Show, Nov. 13-15

Ron Meyer’s Christmas City Gift Show fills the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center, 2350 Beach Blvd., with more than 300 booths: fashion, jewelry, gourmet foods, handcrafted art and gifts. Its 2026 schedule:

Small Business Saturday and downtown

Downtown Biloxi’s shops sit along Howard Avenue, Lameuse Street and Rue Magnolia. Biloxi Main Street had not announced a Small Business Saturday event for 2026 as of Oct. 12; call 228-435-6339. Its monthly First Friday street party went on hiatus from December 2025 to March 2026.

The Biloxi Community Market at Howard Avenue and Hopkins Boulevard, under the I-110 overpass, is open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., weather permitting, according to the city’s October 2026 calendar (PDF). See our farmers markets guide.

Holiday markets and open houses

The 2026 dates for these were not out as of Oct. 12. In 2025:

  • Christmas Open House, Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum, 115 1st St., Nov. 22, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Santa and Mrs. Claus, the museum gift shop and local vendors. Free.
  • Holiday Sip ‘n’ Shop, Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art, 386 Beach Blvd., Nov. 25, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.: pottery made in the Biloxi Center for Ceramics.
  • Biloxi Visitors Center Holiday Open House, 1050 Beach Blvd., Dec. 13, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: dozens of artists and craftsmen, photos with Santa. Free.
  • Christmas in the City, downtown, Dec. 13, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: arts and crafts vendors, choirs and photos with Santa. Free.
  • Camp Wilkes Christmas on the Back Bay, Dec. 13: a vendor village and Santa’s Cabin.
  • Bacon Alley Art Show, Greenhouse Biloxi, 152 G.E. Ohr St., Dec. 20, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Parking, traffic and safety

Beach Boulevard (U.S. 90) carries most shopping traffic to Edgewater Mall and the Coliseum. The city posts lane closures on its traffic page. Biloxi Police’s holiday safety tips for shoppers:

  • Park in a well-lit area and note where you parked.
  • Lock packages in the trunk or out of sight; never leave them on the seat.
  • Do not make several trips to the car with bags; it draws attention.
  • Shop in daylight where you can, or go with a friend at night.
  • Do not leave boxes from new purchases at the curb for trash pickup.
