Every public school in Biloxi, with its zone and report card: Biloxi public schools.

The Biloxi Public School District runs Biloxi’s public schools: six elementary schools, a junior high, a high school and the Center for New Opportunities. Superintendent Marcus Boudreaux leads the district, whose central office is at 160 St. Peter St. Not every Biloxi address is in the district: the city’s tax levy covers property inside the city but outside the Biloxi school district (PDF), and those homes are served by the Harrison County School District. Check your address on the Biloxi district’s attendance zones map.

How to register

Registration has two parts, and the district says it is not complete until both are done: online registration and in-person residency verification. For 2026-27, verification days were July 7-10 at Biloxi High School, and late registration began July 30. New families moving in during the year should call Student Services at 228-374-1810, ext. 1125.

Bring:

  • A government-issued photo ID
  • Two proofs of residency, one from each group. Group 1: a mortgage statement from the last 30 days, a property tax form, a filed homestead exemption, or a home, apartment or military housing lease. Group 2: an electric, gas or cable bill from the last 30 days, or a military base housing residence form. Water bills are no longer accepted.
  • Guardianship papers signed by a judge, if they apply
  • For new students: a certified birth certificate, the student’s Social Security card and Mississippi Form 121 immunization certificate (also required for students entering seventh grade)
  • For new high school students: an unofficial transcript

Students coming from a non-accredited school or home school are tested before placement. Biloxi’s prekindergarten is a full-day program, and the district does not provide bus service for prekindergarten students.
